Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct intervention services to children and families within their home and community setting.
- Collaborate with Treatment team members, school personnel, family members, referral agencies, etc. to ensure appropriate interventions are being provided based on client progress and/or need to amend intervention services.
- Provide coaching and appropriate modeling of behavior for the purpose of decreasing negative behaviors of the client and/or family.
- Provide crisis intervention when needed at school, home and in the community.
- Provide all information and documentation needed for billing in an accurate and timely manner according to the regulatory body standards including Medicaid.
- Participate in all identified in-service trainings according to regulatory body and company policy.
- Participate in all individual and group clinical supervision sessions.
- Submit accurate, required notes within 24 hours of service and complete required reports within assigned timeframes.
- Meet with designated clients for the prescribed number of hours/days/contacts per week.
- Transport clients utilizing personal vehicle as necessary.
- Commit to a minimum of 15 hours of direct care services weekly. This may mean working with more than one family.
Masters Level Interventionist:
- Perform all Bachelor level responsibilities as listed above.
- Perform behavioral health screenings as needed.
- Complete formalized assessments of student and family functioning and make recommendations for Family Treatment Planning in compliance with DHHS standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other related Behavioral Health field, from an accredited institution for higher learning; minimum of one to two years’ experience working in the field of social work and/or behavioral health counseling with children and adults.
- Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other related Behavioral Health field
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
- Pass current, applicable clearances.
- Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
