Utilizes a variety of person centered, culturally sensitive of treatment approaches to work with a diverse outpatient population. Service goals include: providing effective behavioral health therapy to clients to improve their functioning and to prevent a higher level of care; group and family therapy, social emotional group activities, skills groups, behavioral supports for health conditions, crisis management, behavioral health case management, care coordination and consultation.
This position is benefit eligible, .81 FTE licensed behavioral health provider. The provider will provide prevention, intervention, and counseling to eligible students of Western Colorado University (WCU). The provider will also offer training and counseling to faculty and employees of WCU. The position is full time during the academic year and part time during the summer.
Education: Masters level degree in one of the recognized mental health professions(LCSW or LPC required, preference for LCSW). Fluency in Spanish preferred; English required.
Experience: Experience in providing services in a primary care setting preferred. Training in conducting diagnostic evaluations to establish differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
License/Certification: Colorado State License or License eligible. (LCSW or LPC required).
Compensation: $26.80 - $33.94/hr, depending on experience.

PRN staff are not initially eligible for benefits, and GVH follows all Affordable Health Care Act Eligibility guidelines.
