**Must have valid driver's license**

The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for providing service and clinical support to clients.

Essential Duties:

• Assist with admission and discharge process, including completion of related documentation
• Provide peer support.
• Complete vital sign checks every 4 hours
• Administer urinalysis drug screenings according to company policies and procedures.
• Supervises clients with emphasis on safety and well-being,
• Facilitates support groups when needed.
• Maintains appropriate client/staff boundaries
• Provides empathetic, supportive approach to all client interactions by acting as a sounding board for the individual.
• Maintains cleanliness, assist clients to develop appropriate cleaning skills by role modeling.
• Must be reliable and consistent with attendance and punctuality to work.
• Able to work indoors and outside.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass criminal background check, including Level 2.
• CPR/First Aid training/certification.
• Previous experience in a substance abuse and/or mental health preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License and a clean driving record preferred.
