Join the Options Family & Behavior Services team as a Behavioral Health Intake Specialist! We are dedicated to providing a person-centered therapeutic rehabilitation journey to all individuals and their families with co-occurring mental illness and chemical dependency. As the first co-occurring program for youth in MN since 1997 Options has been a leader in treating the whole person. In addition, we offer integrated behavioral and primary medical care services in our program.
The purpose of the Behavioral Health Intake Specialist is to serve as the first business contact for our clients both in person and over the phone for the entire organization. The Behavioral Health Intake Specialist is responsible for coordinating intakes, verifying insurance, conducting authorizations and working with the billing staff to provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.
Position Hours: Monday - Friday, Flexible Hours (either 7:30 am-4:00 pm or 8:30 am-5:00 pm typically)
Salary: starting at $20/hr DOQ
This position requires:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 1-3 years of front desk experience, medical receptionist experience preferred.
- Experience in insurance eligibility verification preferred
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- Must pass a Department of Human Services background study
