Job description
Swanton Elementary School seeks an elementary behavior interventionist. The successful candidate will join an established team of behavior specialists that include planning room supports, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and others, in performing a variety of proactive and reactive behavior support functions within all grade levels, PK-6, across our two-building campus. These responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, proactively supporting student behavior plans (i.e. providing positive, earned breaks to students, collecting behavior data, etc.), supporting students with acute behavior challenges (may include physical intervention), working 1:1 with students when their primary support is unavailable, completing required paperwork, and other related behavior functions as assigned.This position requires training on physical interventions (provided.)
