Located in the heart of Downtown Berkeley, this 17 story property with 331 suites will feature over 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space and a rooftop restaurant and bar with expansive and inspiring views of the city.

Soaring 17 stories high, this Berkeley, CA hotel features 331 suites with fully equipped kitchens, separate living spaces, and a thoughtful collection of modern amenities. We offer over 15,000 sq.ft. of flexible meeting & event space as well as a rooftop restaurant and bar with spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay Area. Located in the heart of Downtown Berkeley, half a block from Downtown Berkeley BART station and several bus routes making it simple to commute to and from your new career adventure.

At this time, we are seeking on time
Banquet Servers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Set up of Banquet Room and serve food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous and professional manner according to Pyramid Hotels' high standards of quality.
- Set up banquet room as instructed by Banquet Manager, Banquet Supervisor and/or Banquet Captain to include linen, service ware and glassware.
- Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations.
- Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.

Serve the food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of banquet leadership to ensure consistency in the order throughout the banquet.

Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function.

Replenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction.

Practice Teamwork" and "Clean as you go" policies.

Once banquet is complete reset banquet room according to specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the following function as well as sanitation of banquet areas.

Other duties as required/assigned.

Requirements:
- Previous banquet serving experience preferred
- Previous serving experience required
