The Compliance department’s core functions support effective compliance practices to prevent and detect violations of all applicable laws, rules, and principles that demand high standards of individual behavior and business conduct. Working closely with the Business, compliance professionals ensure that our risk-based program is both globally effective and locally anchored to our key divisional businesses. As an independent and robust second level control function, the Compliance Department seeks to manage compliance risk and deepen the culture of compliance at Deutsche Bank through the development and management of strategies that are sustainable and increases the trust of our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Complete daily reporting and monitoring tasks, including identification and escalation of variances and issues
Prepare senior management and board reporting materials and partner with other compliance functions to assess existing operational processes and identify control improvements relating to compliance banking regulations
Support the closure of audit and/or regulatory findings and escalate materials compliance matters in a timely and concise manner
Actively identify, manage, and escalate dependencies and issues to ensure the team is able to meet internal and external targets
Obtain and coordinate feedback and sign off from relevant stakeholders for process and/or reporting changes and improvements
Assist with implementation of compliance program policies in accordance with relevant regulations and supervisory guidance
Your Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business, or Accounting
Excellent communication ability, with a particular focus on development and review of procedures
Experience and/or understanding of large organization working across multiple locations, preferably in compliance, or a similar financial services risk management function is preferred
A solution-oriented attitude with an eye on opportunities for process improvements
Ability to develop strong understanding of regulations governing financial institutions including the rules and regulations of the FRB, OCC, FDIC, and CFPB
