Solü is currently seeking a Backend Developer (Remote) to join our client’s team.
Responsibilities
- Help build and maintain applications based in Ruby on Rails and React
- Perform code reviews in a remote-first team
- Promote best practices in full-stack development
- Write automated tests for new features and help improve code coverage
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or graduate of a coding bootcamp
- 3-5 years with Ruby (2+) and Rails (5+)
- 3-5 years with React.js ecosystem, including knowledge of hooks and using functional components
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, such as Redwood.js, Blitz.js, Meteor.js, or similar
- Experience with Amazon Web Services ecosystem
- Knowledge of security best practices, especially with regard to OWASP Top 10
- Experience with other Ruby frameworks, such as Roda, Bridgetown, Sinatra, or Cuba
- API development experience with GraphQL
