JOB DESCRIPTION
Day-to-Day:
A client of Insight Global is looking to add a Technical Product Owner to their Operator Technology Solutions organization. This resource will work closely with a peer development pod and Digital Systems Analyst to help build a new and improved sales portal for their licensees. The current portal is currently in an excel sheet and has discrepancies with sales records. The goal of this product will be to help keep the sales data more accurate so it may provide a deeper understanding of sales analytics/reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a technical environment and practicing prioritization skills. There will be many requests coming from different stakeholders, it is crucial to be comfortable saying no and moving things to backlog when necessary. Machine learning algorithms will be utilized, so any prior knowledge of this would be a plus. Certifications like CSPO or CSM would also be a plus.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of years’ experience as a Technical Product Owner managing and delivering end-to-end solutions
- SQL skills – RDS
- Excellent prioritization skills
- Experience working on large/complex projects (multiple teams, complex cross-functional business requirements).
- Experience using Jira to create, maintain and groom a backlog of well-written epics and stories.
- Strong Agile experience and confidence in driving technical deliverables for a high-visibility program within an SDLC environment
DESIRED SKILLS
- Certifications in Agile Scrum/SAFe, CSPO, CSM, etc.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning/Data Science
- Experience utilizing Amazon Web Services as part of solutions
- Experience with modern technology stacks: AWS dev and deployment ecosystems, containers, Angular, React, nodeJS, Python
