Role:  Senior Consultant 2 - AWS Senior Architect

Location:  Remote/Trenton NJ

Evaluates and designs AWS needs and coordinates with various IT units on best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication is Required.

Note:  Local candidates will be required to work on-site 2Xs / wk. Non-local candidates can work 100% remote.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• In depth knowledge of AWS platform and services, e.g., S3, Lambda, Step functions, SQS, SNS, etc.
• In depth knowledge of DevOps pipeline and necessary tools, e.g., Jenkins, JFrog, JMeter, etc.
• In depth knowledge of and experience in Node.js
• Proven experience assessing on-premises environment for cloud suitability and establishing a roadmap for the same.
• Proven experience designing and implementing AWS based solutions.
• Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive project from architecture standpoint
• Research market trends pertaining to cloud, recommend best practices and mentor team to build necessary competency
• Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness with the organization
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
• Certification on AWS architecture desirable Roles and Responsibilities
• Study existing on-prem environment and define cloud migration strategy
• Frequently meet with infrastructure and application teams to gather project requirements
• Develop architecture plan including required AWS services and cost estimation
• Facilitate conversation with various teams during every phase of project implementation
• Ensure project design and implementation following already defined guidelines by the organization
• Develop DevOps pipeline plan
• Oversee build of the environment and validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls

AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification (AWS Solutions Architect Professional a plus)
AWS DevOps Engineer Certification

Skill
