Automotive Service Excellence Certification
Job description
EventLink is looking for an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification Technician to join their team in the Coachella Valley.
Responsibilities:
- Assist other ASE Certified Technician(s) to support the repair needs program vehicles
- Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition
- Perform routine, general maintenance and repairs as needed and in accordance with established maintenance schedules and manufacturer’s technical procedures
- Inspect mechanical and electrical vehicle components and ensure proper working order
- Diagnose issues timely and accurately
- Conduct regular maintenance work such as replacing fluids, lubricating parts, brakes, tires, etc.
- Follow safety guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- High school diploma is the minimum education requirement
- Must be ASE Certified
Experience:
- 2 – 5 years of vehicle maintenance and repair
Skills:
- Some computer skills for data acquisition
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Requires frequent lifting of approximately 25-60 lbs. and heavy lifting (over 60 lbs.) on rare occasions.
Schedule:
- Must be flexible with work schedules
