Automotive Receptionist Responsibilities
The Automotive Receptionist is responsible for handling the flow of people through business and providing general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
- Responsible for welcoming customers with a warm and sincere greeting
- Ensures excellent service standards and maintains high customer satisfaction
- Answers phone call in a professional and courteous manner
- Transfers phone calls or take written messages when needed personnel not available
- Receives, sorts, and forwards incoming mail
- Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc)
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and filing
- Shares cashier responsibilities and processes as required
- Follows company safety procedures and policies
Automotive Service Cashier Qualifications
- Individuals employed in this position must be able to stand, sit and mobilize through various dealership work areas (sometimes for extended periods)
- Individuals employed in this position must have excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills; cultural sensitivity and demonstrates ability to work with diverse people groups
- Individuals employed in this position must have knowledge of basic arithmetic and skill in handling and counting cash accurately
- Individuals employed in this position must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and management
- Individuals employed in this position must demonstrate organizational and time management skills
- Individuals employed in this position must demonstrate sufficient computer literacy
- Individual employed in this position must possess a positive attitude
