Job Title: Automotive Office Manager
Department: Accounting
Reports to: Comptroller/CFO
Job Status: Full-time/Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
The Office Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day Accounting Office responsibilities, overseeing the Accounting Staff, and performing accounting related functions such as recording transactions, reconciling schedules, following up on aged balances, and supporting departmental team members.
Essential Functions:
- Daily bank deposits and reconciliation
- Daily floorplan payments
- Daily reconciliation of cash clearing account
- Daily follow-up of contracts and deposits in transit
- Claiming incentives on a daily basis with daily follow-up
- Constant review and monitor of schedules
- Daily communication with Miami, FL office for the submission of payables and receivables
- Makes sure all refunds for sales, parts and service are done timely
- Supervises title work and follows-up on any complaints due to tag/title issues
- Answers any accounting questions that arise
- Maintains direct communication with general manager
- In charge of submitting claims for extended warranties and supervising aging of regular factory warranty.
- Trains and supervises new staff in current department processes.
- Compiles information and prepares reports as requested by management and Executive Leadership.
