POSITION SUMMARY:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for safely handling guests’ and patrons’ coats and other outwear accessories (scarfs, hats, umbrellas, etc.).
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to Team Members in order to provide superior guest service.- Assists guests with the checking in of coats, hats and/or umbrellas in a friendly and professional manner.
- Issues claims checks for articles checked and returning articles on receipt of check.
- Fills out “Item Release Forms” for expensive furs or leather coats.
- Must be courteous and polite at all time.
- Maintains cleanliness of coatroom.
- Maintains hanger tickets to assure numbers are on correct hanger and hanger is in correct slot on rack.
- Informs next shift of anything that may have happened regarding coatroom.
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Attend seminars when needed.
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):
Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Board.- Must successfully pass background check.
- Must successfully pass drug screening.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Excellent customer service skills.
ABILITY TO:
Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.- Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.
- Remain calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere.
- Present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
- Must be able to address stressful situation with guests with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness.
- Must be able to carry objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, use controls, reach with arms and hands, twist, stoop, kneel or crouch.
