Our Infusion Center opened in April 2021 to provide infusion and injectable treatments for a variety of chronic diseases in an outpatient setting with dedicated support from nurses and an APP.

Position Highlights:

• Oversee Kenilworth site in Uptown Charlotte (office hours Monday–Friday 9am – 5:30pm)
  • No nights, weekends and no call
  • 20 infusion chairs with 4 chairs in a pod, managed by 3-4 RNs
  • Max of 25 infusions per day, with some infusions lasting up to 6 hours
  • Triage patients and manage reactions to infusions
• Virtually assist RNs at other sites (Concord, SouthPark, Pineville)
• Participate in care design and workflow
• Access to additional System level care management resources and virtual technology

Ideal Candidate Highlights:

• Confidence in managing the potential for high-risk reactions to infusions and injections
• Collaborative approach to patient care with a care team consisting of supervising physician, RNs and pharmacist
• Interest in process improvement as care model changes are implemented
• Flexibility to respond to patient demands driven by industry standards and current market conditions
• Desire to help build the brand of the infusion center and serve as the “front door” from referring specialists
