Athletic Trainer (ATC)
Job description
Rock Valley Physical therapy is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer to provide Secondary School athletic training services in the community of the Quad Cities Metroplex and surrounding communities. Qualifications include a minimum Bachelor's Degree from a CAATE accredited institution in Athletic Training, NATA/BOC Certified, Eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa and/or Illinois, CPR/AED certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide Athletic Training services to assigned high school under the supervision of the Regional Coordinator of Athletic Training Services.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in regards to efficient and effective prevention, acute care, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injury.
- Assist athletes and families with entry into the healthcare system for medical treatment and rehabilitation services beyond the scope or skill of the athletic trainer.
- Engage in opportunities within the organization of Rock Valley such as relationship building, clinic assistantship, program development, and interprofessional collaboration.
- Adhere to ethical standards of care and health information privacy
