FUNCTION
The Assistant Money Room Manager assists the Money Room Manager with directing the activities of the Mutuel Department to ensure an efficient and economic operation, particularly in relation to the Money Room.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Assist Money Room Manager in all duties.
• Issue bankroll to money room dealers.
• Verifies money returned from money room divisions.
• Delivers check deposits to the bank.
• Balances all money room divisions.
• Accounts for self-serve terminal returns.
• Serves as Money Room Manager including all duties, when he is not present.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Money Room Manager with managing both full-time and part-time mutuel employees in the Mutuel Department on a day-to-day basis.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
