• Create press materials including print and digital galleys, press releases for ARC distribution and final copies, identify media lists for assigned titles, and send email blasts to targeted media
• Excerpt reviews and log publicity. Distribute monthly publicity report.
• Engage book review media through meetings, email pitches, and during annual trade shows. Track calls for information from review media across product types and coordinate submissions.
• Interface with editors, authors, and freelancers on key titles.
• Use social media, virtual platforms, and other opportunities to reach new audiences of reviewers/influencers.
• Coordinate award submissions.
• Assist with arrangements at bookstores, libraries, and private and/or virtual events for author appearances for key titles.
• Other duties are required when necessary across the marketing department.

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably within the subjects of marketing and/or communications
• 1-3 years of publicity experience, with related work experience in communications to be considered
• Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal, organizational, and time management skills
