Job description
- Essential Duties and Responsibilites:
- Provide trauma informed supervision to program case managers and victim advocates relevant to services provided to victims of human trafficking. Supervision consists of crisis support, one-on-one monthly meetings, as well as monthly case reviews.
- Conduct file audits on a routine basis to ensure client/case documentation meets best practice standards.
- Train new staff and ensure ongoing implementation of roles, responsibilities, policy and procedure, offer shadow support for client visits in the field.
- Assist with case management work as needed during times of high caseload.
- Ensure quality and integrity of client level data entered into our database tracking system by staff.
- Track and monitor grant related deliverables related to client services provided under various grants and assist with grant reporting requirements.
- Network with and provide presentations to partner agencies and the groups to generate collaboration, awareness of our program and referrals.
- Collaborate with Catholic Charities Programs and partners in the provision of victim services
- Conduct outreach efforts and maintain relationships with human trafficking providers, governmental agencies, law enforcement officials, and community-based organizations.
- Participate in local, statewide, and national councils and task forces that seek to improve practices and policies that affect survivors.
- Represent Catholic Charities in community coalitions and task force meetings.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor's degree in social work or related field, Master's preferred.
- Familiar with data entry into a client tracking system.
- Two or more years of experience in providing direct social services to victims of violence and/or trauma, preferably to survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, or sexual assault.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to function as part of an interdisciplinary team and show interest in policy advocacy at the national level.
- Knowledge of community social service resources and local job market, especially in the Glades community
- Computer skills. MS office and database management.
- Ability to communicate professionally with external partners, service providers, co-workers, and supervisors.
