Position Summary
The LSU Health School of Medicine Department of Interdisciplinary Oncology seeks an energetic and innovative executive leader to serve as the Associate Director (AD) of Community Outreach and Engagement with the LSUHSC Cancer Center. The Associate Director must be an outstanding academic leader with a demonstrated sustained record of federal funding with experience in programmatic community education, health disparities, serving underserved populations, and administrative domains. We are seeking a progressive and visionary leader to build a program and oversee the Office of Community Outreach and Engagement while establishing and working directly with the Community Advisory Board and Community Health Associates. In addition, the AD is expected to maintain active research while promoting community education, advocacy, and service that displays a commitment to expanding access to quality cancer care and clinical trials among diverse populations.
