This is a 12 months, 5 days per week support staff position located in the District Administration Office. Salary range is $52,000-$56,000 based on qualifications and experience. The position includes health benefits and enrollment in the Pennsylvania School Employees Retirement System.

Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Organize and support new and existing technology department projects and programs
  • Collaborate with building and district stakeholders to support the day-to-day operations of the K-12 Chromebook program; serve as the point person for questions and concerns related to the Chromebook program
  • Compose and prepare Technology department correspondence; file correspondence and other data; proofread, update and publish documents both internally and externally via the website; facilitate the scheduling of meetings, appointments and work activities
  • Manage technology leases and other purchase agreements
  • Manage device distribution and documentation for all new staff members including building subs and paraprofessionals; manage device swaps for teachers going on leave and maintain accurate records
  • Create new student and staff accounts for the district and manage staff email groups
  • Coordinate with technology support assistants to complete projects
  • Coordinate and distribute hardware/software documentation and user guides/videos to teachers and other staff members
  • Refer needed repairs to appropriate outside vendors or district support staff
  • Provide monthly reports to the Director of Technology
  • Process and troubleshoot purchase orders, invoices, and payments and acquire quotes as needed from vendors
  • Plan for building technology supply needs and order and distribute the supplies
  • Monitor all open or pending technology service requests for the buildings to ensure resolution
  • Coordinate all aspects of the Enrichment program (which includes the Summer Sports Camp) to include the creation of courses; hiring, assignment, and payment of instructors; publication and promotion; collect course enrollment; initiate program communications; collect payment for enrollees; and serve as primary contact for the program
  • Coordinate district registration of new students
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or related field preferred
  • Three (3) years of experience with organizational support, project management, and/or technology support
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer expertise with Google Workspace apps and tools, word processing, database, spreadsheet, and graphic design
  • Ability to take direction, ask questions, and complete tasks independently
