Good Shepherd Center (GSC) is an Early Childhood Education Licensed Center in Iowa City conveniently located .5 miles from the University of Iowa.

Location: Good Shepherd Early Childhood Education Center, 603 Greenwood Drive, Iowa City, IA 52246

Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teacher as directed in order to provide appropriate early childhood experiences in all areas of development
• Assist lead teacher in preparing the physical environment and maintaining order in that environment
• Assist in supervising all activities to ensure the health and safety of the children
• Assist lead teacher in communicating daily any concerns and information to parents regarding their children
• Assist in all recordkeeping as requested
• Ensure children are engaged in the activities provided by the lead teacher in a positive and educationally stimulating way. Constant and continued interaction with the children is required.
• Be capable of lifting and carrying children without undue strain

Rate of Pay: $10.75 - $13.50

Schedule: day shift; Monday - Friday

Hours: between the hours of 7 am-6 pm; straight shifts and split shifts available

Start Date: August 2022
