We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented room manager to join our team. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in working with wine, a strong focus on customer service and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet our patrons needs. The Room Manager will be responsible for overseeing tasting room staff in providing a fun and professional tasting to individuals and large groups.

Responsibilities: Teach staff about Bishop Estate wine, our wine processes and winery stories to relay to customers. * Manage and deligate staff to keep tasting areas stocked with wine, snacks and all items needed for tastings. *Know how to run our point of sale system. *Manage staff and deligate chores to clean and close winery. *Sweep and mop hard surface floors, wipe down tables and keep restrooms clean and stocked with supplies. * Empty trash cans and police event areas for trash. *Clean patios and wine stains on pavers with clorox. *Light firepits. *Supervise the activities and people in the tasting room so they run smoothly. *Keep records for PLCB requirements on cleaning and incidents. *Train new staff members. *Breakdown and clean taps and slushy machines. *Skills needed to handle people and issues that arise when drinking alcohol and managing under age people. *Maintain high energy and clear head when there are a lot of patrons who are waiting to be served when amazing weather and special events occur.

Assistant manager will be trained and work in close relationship with our other managers. Our tasting room and staff of servers and managers work as a team to have fun and provide the best experience for our customers. Your job is to oversee your servers to make sure that is happening. Compensation starts with base pay of $12.50 per hour and substancial tips combined gives an average hourly rate of $18 per hour, usually more, tips will vary depending on weather, time of year and special events.
