Title: Assistant Sales Specialist
Department: Customer Care

Reports To: Customer Care Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Sales Specialist is responsible for assisting the Sales Specialists they are assigned to with emails and other correspondence. This team member will learn the sales process, order entry, residential and commercial product knowledge and the basics of door hardware.

- Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Handle quotes, orders, returns and other inquiries as directed by the Sales Specialist they are assigned to.
- Perform data entry as directed by the Sales Specialist you are assigned to.
- Develop an understanding of the market and continually improve product knowledge.
- Assist Sales Specialists they are assigned to in their fax/email hours daily, as well as positions on back up teams.
- Respond to emails, phone calls, and other forms of correspondence in a reasonable amount of time as instructed by the Sales Specialist they are assigned to.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Report to management and Sales Specialists on opportunities and risks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to multi task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Highly proficient computer skills including Outlook, MS Word, Excel.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
