DP Reynolds & Associates is a leading commercial construction-focused executive recruiting firm, retained by several well-known Top 100 ENR, "name brand" GC’s, to identify an experienced Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action that will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.

• Experience of 2-5 years in commercial construction, providing assistance with coordination of project schedules and material on projects $25M-$50M+.
• Preferred project experience: HEAVY INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING, healthcare, light industrial, mission critical, higher education (life sciences), high-end hospitality, K-12, retail, and/or class A office.
• Ability to coordinate/assist with all construction project activities, materials, and personnel as required to successfully complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Effective communication and presentation skills with all levels of people throughout the construction process.
• Capability to effectively manage client relationships to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a construction related field preferred.
• In depth knowledge of the construction process.
• Solid understanding of estimating concepts, contractual language, and construction laws and practices.
• Ability to read and understand plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Understanding of building codes and other design requirements.
• Experience working in a dynamic team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
