We are seeking an Assistant Director. This is a great position for someone who has a Director 1 certification (or the credentials for us to certify you in house) that is looking to learn how to be a Director. Previous experience in an admin role or as an assistant director is not required. The Assistant Director who will split their time between classrooms and working with the Director to complete admin duties.

A qualified candidate will be able and willing to collaborate with teachers to plan, implement and evaluate an emergent curriculum. Additionally, they will demonstrate the communication and interpersonal skills needed to build strong relationships with parents and staff. Previous experience in leadership roles with teachers and assistants preferred, but not required.

Assistant Director duties will include working with the Director to maintain EEC compliance within our operations, maintain and updating office paperwork, taking inventory, managing budgets, and "running the floor" to make sure the teachers and assistants have what they need to be successful on a daily basis.

Qualifications:
I/T/P Lead Teacher Certifications, and Director 1 Certification and/or credentials to certify you in house.
Strong interpersonal skills
CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
