Summary
The Corporate Partnerships team is responsible for developing strategic relationships with major corporations to drive impactful partnerships for kids.
The Associate, Corporate Partnerships provides administrative support to the Senior Managing Director of Corporate Partnerships and the Consumer, Health and Enablers Teams. You will assist on a variety of responsibilities across the team, supporting special projects as needed, with great opportunities to learn about and contribute to the work of Save the Children.
What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
Provide assistance to the Senior Managing Directors (SMD), Managing Directors (MD), and Senior Officers assigned in organizing and executing administrative functions (35%):
- Maintaining calendar and scheduling meetings in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
- Arranging meeting logistics, including the set-up of internal technical equipment (team meetings, retreats, trainings, external meetings, etc.)
- Handling phones calls and e-mails, flagging issues and following up on SMD’s behalf
- Maintaining contact lists
- Updating the customer relationship management system through BBEC
- Managing subscriptions and ordering office supplies for the team
Provide support to the SMD’s and assigned staff in travel coordination (25%):
- Making travel arrangements and preparing trip binders
- Submitting Traveling Request forms (TARS) and tracking approvals for Officers
- Preparing and tracking expense reports for Officers
- Assisting in the management of the teams travel budget
Provide support to the corporate team in prospecting / stewardship activity (20%):
- ‘Get smart’ research, maintaining files to ensure easy reference and retrieval
- Competitive research on a semi-annual basis
- Preparing presentations for donors
- Provide stewardship-related event / field trip support
Provide department support for HR administrative tasks (10%):
- Coordination of candidate interviews
- Assist with new hire onboarding/off boarding; paperwork and cubical set up
- Tracking annual reviews for SMD’s to ensure all deadlines are met
Manage timesheets for the CP team including timely submissions and approvals. Maintain department calendar for vacations and other out-of-office activities (5%)
Assist with special projects as requested, e.g., year-end mailings, various reports, website maintenance etc. (5%).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple administrative tasks in a fast paced environment, with attention to detail
- Proven customer service mindset, with courteous and professional interactions with internal and external clients
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and utilize creative thinking skills
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining and environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
Compensation
Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:
- Geo 1- NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Up to $48,000/ year
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
