Summary
This twelve-month exempt position reports to the Vice President for Athletics and works in support of the goals and operations of the Department of Athletics. This position supervises the assistant athletic director for communication, the director of sports performance, interns, and part-time/student staff as assigned. The Assistant Director serves as Athletics liaison to Advancement, Alumni Relations, and Office of Communication and Marketing. Athletic fundraising and marketing are key components of this position. Other duties pertaining to the operational needs of the department are assigned as needed (i.e., preseason logistics, limited game administration).
