About us

We are a Grace Based, connection oriented home for Arizona’s foster children. Are you mission-minded and enjoy caring for young people in Arizona's foster care system? Our Youth Support Aides are flexible, self-directed, and independent problem solvers. You will assist the House Manager in meeting the material, physical, spiritual, emotional, and disciplinary needs of each child in the home. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting children with interactions, including behavioral management through connecting principles of Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)
• Transport children to/from school, activities, appointments, and religious options as necessary
• Assist with meal preparation and house cleaning
• Dispense medications
• Complete daily progress notes and other documentation
• Participate in monthly team meetings and agency wide trainings
• Maintain all DES licensing standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma, or equivalent
• 21+ years of age
• Possess an operational vehicle and a valid AZ driver’s license; clean driving record
• Mature Christian, active in a local church
• 1 year experience working with children, 2 years verifiable employment
• Knowledge of Trauma Informed Care, TBRI, Grace Based Parenting preferred
• Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds
• Effective oral and written communication skills, basic computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends or overnights
• Able to obtain a valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Dept. of Public Safety and pass a criminal background check
• CPR/First Aid Certified (or ability to obtain within three months of hiring)
