Immediate opening for ASSEMBLER

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Sort and place materials or items on racks or shelves according to organizational standards.
• Assembly, cutting, drilling, and packaging of custom steel support for the Fabrication Department.
• Open boxes, crates, and other containers as needed.
• Seal completed pallets with shrink wrap.
• Remove products from sealed pallets.
• Maintain quality in the warehouse and reported problems to the supervisor.
• Efficiently carry out orders from the supervisor.
• Work in accordance with all safety regulations of the warehouse.
• Assemble products as required at a steady, quick pace.

Skills and specifications:
Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment
Ability to efficiently coordinate work with co-workers and management

Physical demands and abilities

• Regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle to feel, reach with hands and arms
• Must be able to push, pull, and regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move
• objects that weigh 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, or crouch
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
