Job Responsibilities:
Complete required assembly activities for an assigned cell while consistently maintaining product quality and safe work practices.- Meet and maintain daily production rates and goals as established and required by the company.
- Read and follow standard work instructions.
- Keep supervisory staff informed of all cell activity including but not limited to information related to quality, parts supply and safety issues that may occur within the scope of responsibility.
- Complete all required cell activities and documentation for assigned work cell as requested by supervisor.
- Attend all required training.
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times.
- Address all quality and safety concerns via the appropriate channels for an assigned cell.
- Participate in all required continuous improvement activities as required by the business.
- Keep work station clean, orderly and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Actively participate in all department projects, tasks and objectives but not limited to continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards.
- Must be able to use all required tools in an assigned work area.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Mandatory overtime may be required to meet business needs.- High School Diploma or GED Preferred
- Sustain an acceptable attendance record by not exceeding the OPW points policy.
- Adhere to all required company and safety policies.
- Must be able to work all scheduled hours and work overtime as mandated by the business.
- Read and follow standard work instructions.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds of weight on a frequent and repetitive basis.
- Must be able to stand, bend, push, pull, twist, kneel and work in weather extremes.
- May work with Fiberglass.
- Must be able to wear all required PPE.
