Assembler – Mechanical - Electrical
Qualifications
Education- High School Diploma
Required Skills: General understanding of electronic/mechanical processes, blueprint reading, knowledge of Microsoft office, understanding the use of measuring instruments and gauges.
Responsibilities
- Perform diversified assembly and large and expensive precision machines, equipment having critical tolerances with strict inspection requirements.
- Plan assembling procedures
- Assign, instruct, and check work of other assemblers and temporary workers
- Do skilled fitting, aligning, and adjusting
- Check sub assemblies and units
- Ensure fit and alignment so parts are movable and operating correctly
- Read blueprints and specifications to ensure all products used are correct
- Use precision measuring instruments and gauging devices to determine acceptability of product
- Inspect and test all final assemblies
This position requires a high degree of skill and assembling technique, plus considerable experience and knowledge of design and mechanical principles.
Perform all duties deemed necessary by operations manager.
