Raymond Building Supply, a Division of USLBM is seeking Full Time Assemblers and/or General Laborers to join our newest location located at 500 McKean St. Auburndale, FL 33823 within our Truss Department.

Wage: $16-20 per hour based on experience

How you will spend you days as an hourly Truss Plant Assembler:

• Assembling precut wooden parts
• Moving precut parts to work areas and positioning parts in alignment with supervisors’ instructions and blueprint specifications
• Verify dimensions of precut parts for accuracy of assembly
• Utilize hammers, saws, pneumatic nail and staple guns to connect parts
• Other tasks as required by management

The candidate in this position will be working in our Truss Department. No experience required for the role, but if you have experience - great!

• A quick learner to operate daily equipment
• Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening
• 1+ Years of assembly experience and/or working with Trusses is preferred but not required
• Physical demands include: exposure to extreme temperatures, lifting 50 to 100 lbs on occasion. Dusty and noisy environment when operating woodworking machines and tools. Ear protection required when exposed to noise for an extended period of time, eye protection and hard sole leather shoes required at all times. Overtime work could be involved
