Boeing is currently looking for an Assembler (Level C) technician to join their Wheel and Brakes team in Van Nuys, CA.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Van Nuys, CA

Position Responsibilities:

• Disassembly of wheel, brake and general maintenance dis-assembly knowledge.

• Assembly / disassembly of wheels/brakes and/or general knowledge of assembly / disassembly practices.

• Use of general hand tools, power tools and torque wrenches.

• Use of computer systems for data entry and processing.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ year experience inspecting, repairing of mechanical items and systems.

• Experience with general shop practices with safety and process controls.

• At least 2 years trade related work experience in mechanical fields.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years experience working with aircraft components

Typical Education & Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
