POSITION SUMMARY
The primary function of this position will be to perform assembly and testing of UHP equipment, gas panels, gas cabinets, and purifiers. Additionally, the successful candidate may need to assist with purifier assembly operations, helium leak testing and various quality control checks. The position involves reading and interpreting assembly drawings, making electrical and mechanical connections, and assembling complex high purity equipment. Basic computer software skills such as Microsoft Office platforms including Outlook email is necessary along with opening computer generated engineering drawings and recording data. Prior experience in mechanical assembly is required and experience in handling high purity equipment is helpful for this position.
This position will report to the Manufacturing Manager of UHP Manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assembler and Test Technician – UHP Equipment
Required Skills:
· Reading and interpreting Assembly Drawings
· Crimping and making electrical connections
· Making mechanical connections such as VCR, Swagelok, and NPT fittings
· Mechanical Assembly of complex UHP equipment
· Leak checking of equipment to ensure gas tight connections
· Use of basic computer software (Microsoft e-mail, word processing, opening drawings)
· Additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
The Assembler and Test Technician should have previous experience in mechanical assembly.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
