Job description

We are an enrichment and specialized after school program working with elementary children in the Arlington Public Schools. We are looking for creative teachers to join our after-school staff. Our program focus is very hands-on and creative. We encourage teachers to be creative with their curriculum and bring as many aspects; arts, food, history, contribution to the world, games, etc., to make our world culture program engaging!

Duties include:

Curriculum preparation for specific subject area and teaching 1 hour per day world curriculum

General oversight of students

Homework help

Supervision of children in classroom, gym, art, playground, theater, computer lab and during snack

Snack preparation and cleanup

General cleanup of areas used by after-school

For the Full time position the first 3 hours of the day would be recess facilitator and general support staff for the school

Hours:

There are 2 options

Full time position

10:00 - 6:00 Mon - Fri

3 hours in the school and 5 hours at after-school

Part time position

1:00pm - 6:00pm Mon, Wed - Fri

12:00pm - 6:00pm Tues

Some additional hours for early release days and vacations
