Area of responsibility New Jersey Locations: Linden NJ, Newark N.J, and Little Ferry N.J.
The Area General Manager is responsible for:
- Location Level Management & Leadership
- Maintain Operational Consistency, Organizational Accountability, and Integrity of Allegiance Policy and Procedure
- Play by the Rules
- Be an entrepreneur – treat the business as if it were your own
- Embody and Empower the Allegiance Trucks Mission, Vision, and Core Values
- Be the encourager but maintain the guardrails
- Deploy and Drive Company Initiatives in the Area – Support the initiatives of the VP/Company
- Maintain Operational Consistency, Organizational Accountability, and Integrity of Allegiance Policy and Procedure
- Full Area Level P&L
- Responsible for Fixed and Variable Operations throughout the Area
- Dotted Line of Responsibility with Accounting, HR, and Parts Leadership
- Continuously improve
- Forecast Monthly – Course correct at Month Mid-Point
- Establish and attain annual and monthly Budget
- Work closely with accounting for timely and accurate month end close
- Being the final say locally for Employee and Customer Relations and Satisfaction
- Work with HR and Legal as needed
- Maintain factory scorecard and achieve at winning level
- Measure and rank ESI, CSI, and Turnover
- Ensure proper training
- Being the voice of your area with Company Leadership
- Communicate employee concerns
- Celebrate accomplishments
- Maintaining the highest standards for physically plant and operations
- Safety – EH&S
- Operation Image - Cleanliness
- Uniforms/Nametags/Mudflaps/Signage/Stickers
- Vehicle, Sales, Parts and Service Merchandising – retail image
- Recruiting and filling open staffing requirements in your Area
- Work with HR and Accounting as needed for proper onboarding and pay controls
