Domain wholly owns and operates Cityscape Architects: a commercial architecture firm founded in 1999 that has designed over 900 projects in 21 states for commercial clients and automotive brands.

Domain by Jackson Dawson/Cityscape Architects is seeking an Architectural Project Manager with experience supporting a national automotive dealership rollout program. Applicants must be able create design intent documents which are practical and marry existing conditions with prototypical design standards. Successful candidates must be self-starters with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review existing condition drawings and information to determine existing design constraints
• Discuss with clients and stakeholders to determine factors affecting dealership design, such as budget, programmatic considerations and architectural brand identity
• Create and modify Revit models to produce schematic plans, elevations and perspectives
• Generate design ideas by creating hand sketches, plan drawings & perspectives
• Leading design reviews in front of clients and bringing multiple parties with differing project goals into agreement.
• Answer questions from local architects and contractors to help facilitate the development and construction of dealerships.
• Review and mark-up design drawings, and mentor drafting staff on aspects of dealership design and Revit use

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university
• 3+ years of experience implementing a national dealership program
• Strong Revit proficiency & ability to create dealership design intent drawings in Revit is required
• Strong ability to sketch and illustrate 3D design concepts and convey design intent with design team and clients
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Registered Architect, preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to travel (approx. 4x/month) and work flexible hours
