See new and established adult patients in an outpatient settingTreating patients with different types of brain cancerSee patients in Good Samaritan Hospital clinic one day a weekMonday- Friday daysNeurology or Neuro Oncology experience is preferredNo weekends or on-callExcellent benefits including CME allowance and medical malpracticePosition Requirements: Masters of Nursing Degree as APRN~CNP2 years RN experience preferred1 year APRN~CNP experience in the relevant setting preferredWell~developed interpersonal and communication skills.Proficiency with an Electronic Medical RecordNational certification as a CNP from an accredited bodyCurrent Illinois APRN LicenseCurrent Illinois Registered Nurse license.Current Illinois Controlled Substance License within 6 months of hireEligible for DEA registration Possession of a current DEA Registration within six months of hire and may vary based on practice siteCurrent BLS CertificationCurrent PALS/ACLS certification may vary based on practice siteTravel may be requiredAbility to work varying hours and shifts to meet the needs of Advocate Health Care.
