Anchor Hocking is a glass factory located at 519 N. Pierce Avenue, Lancaster Ohio. We have great opportunities to earn a living in the glass industry! You will be represented by the United Steelworkers.

$21.99 base hourly rate plus $.40 afternoon shift and $.45 night shift differential. After thirty (30) days you will be represented by the United Steelworkers and eligible for $75 a month attendance bonus and $25 a month safety bonus! $3,500 ATTENDANCE BONUS AFTER SIXTY (60) DAYS!

SCHEDULES ARE TWELVE (12) HOUR SHIFTS THREE (3) ON, TWO (2) OFF, TWO (2) ON AND THREE (3) OFF. 6:00 AM OR 6:00 PM START TIME TO SUPPORT GLASS FORMING 24/7. ROTATE DAYS TO NIGHTS EACH MONTH.

**Must complete 4000 hours of State Approved Apprentice Program, including book work, testing and on-the-job training**

WORK DESCRIPTION

• Operate the glass forming machines and equipment to manufacture product to the quality specifications at the optimum level of efficiency.
• Responsible for maintaining glass production.
• Assist in the glass forming job change process.
• Communicate all changes and problems as they occur to the Production Supervisor.
• Replace defective glass forming molds and similar equipment as required.
• Perform quality checks on the ware at various stages of forming to check weight, and forming parameters.
• Complete any paperwork necessary such as Mold change log.
• Maintain quality housekeeping and good safety practices in the work area.
• Do other work as required by supervisor.
