Job Brief: Install conduit, wiring, constructs and maintains electrical equipment, petroleum construction, and facilities consistent with Company work orders, blueprints, schematic drawings and other prescribed specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- 50%: Helps to fabricate, install and maintain various types of electrical systems and their parts and components, includes taking responsibility for installing electrical, electronic and constructual systems.
- 10%: Development of efficient methods for control panel construction Assist on the design, start up of systems on site, repairs, trouble shooting including tech calls over phone.
- 10%: Assist in the development of control panels. Maintains logs and records of installation, maintenance and other work performed.
- 10%: Assist development of electrical drawings, standards and control testing. Help train others on the requirements of the system (train field people).
- 20%: Performs other duties as assigned such as constructing, testing, installing, remediation systems.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Requires a high school diploma and enrollment in the US DOL Electrician Apprenticeship program.
- Experience: 1-3 years of related electrical experience, or equivalent training and/or experience.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Technical Abilities: Knowledge of, electrical wiring, electrical materials, electronics, and construction principles and practices. Ability for reading and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings and other prescribed instructions as described. Basic mathematical and record keeping skills. Ability to follow work instructions and prescribed specifications.
- Autonomy/Direction: Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision of Journeymen Electricians. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.
Working Conditions
- Working Hazards: Works in an environment with potential exposure to fumes, dirt, noise, equipment movement dangers, vibrations, dangerous chemical/solvents, electrical shock, and inclement temperature extremes.
- Physical/Mental Exertion Ability to perform heavy physical labor exerting up to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis and up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis performing such tasks as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and fingering.
- Tools and Equipment: Ability to perform manual electrical work and equipment operation as described. Knowledge and experience with some computer programs.
