Position Summary


Seeking an experienced SAP Specialist to join our team in the Americas Region Shared Services Center. The Shared Services Center supports HOERBIGER Business Units located in the United States, Canada and LATAM.

Position is responsible to roll out the standard template of Accounting and Controlling, in S/4HANA and ECC 6.0 versions, as well as delivering Functional and Technical support across all business units. Works closely with SAP and business applications leadership, business decision makers, and end users, leveraging strong understanding of financial accounting transactions, closing process and reporting.

Successful candidate should reside in the southeast Florida area (no relocation assistance). During initial training period, will work in our Deerfield Beach office, then progress to working two days in office and three days remote. This full-time position includes an awesome work environment and excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Customize and Setup the SAP FICO Module for a specific business unit according to the corporate templates
  • Provide technical support and problem resolution to the user community in FICO module
  • Roll out the FICO module, part of the Team to deploy the SAP S/4 HANA and ECC 6.0 version
  • Cash Applications (EBS, Lockbox, remittance advise, clearing functions, payment cards)
  • RAR integration with SD, BPC, Tax Compliance, Direct and Indirect tax, SD integration with tax
  • Support all areas of controlling (Product Costing, Cost Object Controlling, Profitability Analysis, Budgeting and Planning, Cost Center and Internal Order Accounting and its integration with COPA and BI/BW
  • Communicate with local business key users to gain knowledge of local special process, and be able to identify process gap between local new process requirements and the global process template
  • Communicate with global process owner to identify any gap and needful changes
  • Prepare enhancement definition document for functional requirements
  • Custom developments and maintenance of FICO modules
  • Provide legal requirements support in SAP FICO for LATAM and Canada

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business/IT or related field
  • Eight years working experience in SAP FICO Module ECC 6.0; four years in SAP FICO Module s/4 Hana
  • At least 4 -5 full Lifecycle implementation/rollout projects
  • Able to plan, configure, test, document and maintain the SAP FICO modules
  • Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions
  • Ability to handle high complexity change requests related to strategic initiatives and the rollout of enhanced capabilities to the sites independently
  • Strong integration background – with MM,SD,PP (knowledge of logistics flows, EDI, intercompany)
  • Knowledge of Upstream/Downstream flows for Source to Pay (Interfaces, bank communications, Treasury)
  • Experience in Tax (Vertex) and other SAP Integrated 3rd Party systems helpful
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States
