Sign- on Bonus:

You will receive $500 when they start (within 30 days) Remaining $500 after conversion (within 30 days from when we convert)
Job Description: Breeds, raises and cares for small research animals on behalf of, or for sale to, customers. Follows proper breeding and animal care procedures. Monitors animal behavior and physical attributes to ensure animal health and confirm appropriate phenotype; reports any findings. Ensures biosecurity. Coordinates with Customer Service on scheduling and order status.
You will be working with mice and rats
Job Duties:
- Picking up and holding animals
- Cleaning cages, replenishing food
- Monitoring the animal’s health
Physical job/on feet/climbing stairs to work on upper levels/repetitive motion
Able to navigate on a tablet computers
Attention to detail required
Strict Animal Welfare compliance – the health and treatment of our animals is paramount
Will need to perform euthanasia
Will wear a respirator for short amounts of time when using chemicals to sterilize
Education: High school diploma or GED required
Disclaimer: Can’t have any type of rodents for pets. Also, cannot own a pet that is fed rodents (dead or alive) due to biosecurity issues
