POSITION TITLE: Angel Tree Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Corps Officer
STATUS: Temporary/Seasonal, Non-Exempt

SCOPE OF POSITION:
Temporary seasonal position responsible for the Angel Tree Christmas program. Requires working with donors and businesses to establish connections for Angel Tree throughout the County.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have knowledge of and experience in performing general office procedures. Be trustworthy and capable of working independently. Have good written and oral communication skills. Knowledge and experience with holiday assistance preferred. Computer and data entry experience required. Driver’s license and vehicle insurance required.

SOFTWARE-RELATED SKILLS:
- Microsoft Word and Excel required
- Working knowledge of integrated database applications and ability to use new software programs with basic training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data entry for the Angel Tree Program
- Process applications for the Angel Tree Program
- Complete and process all Angel Tree Tags.
- Prepare and distribute Angel Tree gift materials.
- Assist with holiday correspondence and follow up.
- Maintain and update contact spreadsheet information as needed.
- Generate reports as needed.
- Work with staff and volunteers to achieve goals for the program.
- Daily pick-ups of community donations.
- Organize and maintain the volunteer list/volunteers for the Angel Tree program.
- Help at the Christmas Distribution Center.
- All other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead
- Ability to operate telephone
- Ability to operate, access and produce information from a computer.
- Ability to lift at least to 30 lbs.
- Ability to understand written and oral information.
