Job description
This is a key member of the student health team. Student Health is a niche line of business where members of the team are involved in all components of business: pricing, product development, UW support, model building, reserving, forecasting, market strategy, filing, account analytics, and more. Team members have access to the segment leadership and interact in a consultative role with matrixed business partners from almost every area, including Finance, Underwriting, Product, Clinical, Legal/Regulatory, Sales, and more.
In addition to the above core responsibilities, this person will assist in ad-hoc actuarial analysis such as custom pricings, rating factor review and pricing methodology updates.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 40,560
Maximum: 81,100
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
- One year actuarial or related health insurance work experience
- Demonstrated analytic and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in statistical analysis and database management
- SAS, SQL, VBA knowledge an advantage
- We are looking for individuals interested in pursuing their ASA/FSA credentials and have demonstrated progress on actuarial exams.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
