The Quality Assurance VISTA with Goodwill MOKAN will grow the capacity and quality of workforce development services for the underemployed and unemployed by engaging volunteers in our mission.

This VISTA Member will:

Marketing and Communications VISTA. This person will be responsible for assisting with marketing, public and media relations campaigns, and providing department support with employee engagement and community events. Activities will include: assisting with public relations activities by identifying and proposing client stories to increase awareness of Goodwill’s mission through the distribution of press releases and supporting multimedia assets; helping develop editorial calendars to promote mission-based engagement and audience growth achieved through both organic and paid content; creating and curating content on social media pages growing audience share, impressions and engagement; assisting in the production of video, photographic, and digital marketing materials for Mission stories, retail and donation strategies, fundraising, advertising, and brand support; and assisting with writing and proofreading various forms of video, digital, and print copy & content.

We are seeking someone with a passion for the power of work and the initiative to develop something new at a 125 year old organization. A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills in speaking and writing, be detailed oriented, have good record keeping ability, and be self-motivated.

We are seeking a VISTA for the 2023 year, approximately January-December 2023. This VISTA member must be willing to serve in a hybrid in-person and remote capacity in order to engage at our in-person programs and events with clients and team members.
