We have teamed up with the YMCA to provide after care services for our school families and are looking for energetic and enthusiastic staff members to join our community.
These positions are offered through the YMCA but take place onsite at St. William.
Y Learning Site Supervisor
Under the direction and supervision of the Afterschool Director, the Y learning Center Site Supervisor is responsible for the direct oversight of assigned After school sites. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
- Comply and adhere to the State of Michigan Childcare Licensing Regulations and the association standards, college credits must be licensable
- Responsible for development and implementation of Afterschool & Enrichment programs and curriculum
- Responsible for the supervision of Y Learning Site Leads, Y Learning Leads and Y Learning Site Assistants
- 40 Hours per week - Monday-Friday 3:00pm-6:00pm (hands on site programming) + office hours and weekly staff meetings

Y Learning Site Assistant
Under the direction and supervision of the Y learning Program Director, the Y Learning Site Assistant will be responsible for the general supervision and management of the site, as well as assisting the child’s social, emotional, physical, spiritual and cognitive development. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
- Part time
- Flexible schedule
- Monday-Friday 6:30am-8:30am/3:00pm-6:00pm + weekly staff meetings
- Bonus payouts scheduled
- 5+ Hours of paid training will be required
- No experience necessary

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ensure a safe and nurturing environment, attending to the needs of students at all times.
Welcome parents and students at all times with a smile and by name.
Assist in general overall site management. Be visible!
Assist in planning and preparing of learning station environments, set-up and clean-up and preparing needed material and supplies
Attend all paid staff meetings.
