Vale Group has partnered with a company in the Aerospace industry, based in Springfield, MA, who is actively searching for an experienced Quality Engineer to work ON-SITE for an opportunity with a salary range between $95K-130K based on experience. The individual will be assisting during the New Product Introduction (NPI) with QA section of planning, review applications of Supplier Quality Assurance Requirements (SQAR), control plans and prepopulated First Article Inspection Reports (FAI) per AS9102.

Requirements of the Quality Engineer:
- 5+ years of experience in Aerospace industry
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- ASQ or equivalent certifications preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Advanced knowledge of AS9102 and AS9100 standards
- Experience with PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plans
- Preferred experience with SAP and Oracle Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer
Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer:
- Develop, implement and maintain quality control systems
- Conduct First Article Inspection Reports (FAI)
- Review and approve supplier quality assurance requirements (SQAR)
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects
- Conduct internal and external quality audits
- Support NPI team with quality planning and documentation
