We currently have a full-time openings for day and night hospital medicine physician assistants and nurse practitioners (inpatient) to work in our Department of Medicine. These positions offer you the opportunity to work as an attending physician providing cross-coverage in small community hospitals with access to the resources provided by a large healthcare system. In this inpatient setting, you will work a night shift schedule while enhancing our current Hospital Medicine Model. As active rounders, our clinicians are expected to focus on evidence-based medicine in order to improve patient quality, safety, throughput, and improved patient experience and communication.
Job Summary
Performs a variety of duties, such as history and physicals, and provides care to assigned patients. Assesses, diagnoses, documents findings, and writes medical orders. Makes clinical decisions relative to patient management through collaboration with physicians.
