Our vision is to prepare outstanding acute care nurse practitioners and certified physician assistants with in-depth didactic material, practical simulation and strong clinical experiences, while developing critical thinking and procedural skills for successful critical care practice
Fellowship program
Our one-year program at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital gives acute care nurse practitioners or physician assistants the post-training competence with common invasive ICU procedures allowing them to rapidly enter the ICU provider workforce. New graduates are highly encouraged to apply.

- Applicants must be acute care boarded, licensed NP or PA with an active Florida license
- Rotations in cardiovascular, neuro, medical, and surgical ICUs
- Receive feedback through exams, regular evaluations by each mentor, and competency-based procedure validation forms
- Dedicated 36-48 hours to clinic work and 12-24 hours to didactic learning each week
